Automotive v belt which also called cogged v belt, it allows the v belt to bend and flex more easily, dissipating heat and running cooler than no toothed belt, and guarantees large cost advantages for the end user and a greater design flexibility for engineers. The fabric on the top of the belt increases the fatigue resistance of the belt, and HMLS polyester cord designed to permit tightly controlled shrink, based on a new EPDM rubber compound which withstand chemically aggressive environments, ageing, ozone, UV and heat.

Production Details
The v belt base (inner surface) is a cogged belt, which allows for low energy loss by bending, and adapts to small diameter pulleys. In addition, it also demonstrates stability with high speed rotation.
Caution
Before any service work on belt is begun sure that motor or engine is switched off and cannot be started.
Installation
Follow instruction provided by the vehicle manufacturer. Important to avoid damage, do not pry belts onto pulleys.
Tension to prevent slip at full load. Run 5 minutes and tension again.
