Rubber v belt is divided into classical v belt and cogged v belt. Classical v belt are the most common and economical v belt used in the power transmission industry. These are used in many industries such as industrial, agricultural, material handling, HVAC and so on.
Cogged v belt have notches that allow them to bend around small diameter pulleys and accommodate twists and turns on curved drives, because of teeth, so compared to the classical v belt flexure better, heat dissipation faster and more stable operation.
